Zürich Walks is owned by Brigitte Snellen, a Zürich local for more than 30 years.  

Following the challenges of corporate life, working as an Event Manager for global corporations throughout Europe, it was time for a career change! Brigitte always loved Zürich's rich cultural life. The idea of Zürich Walks evolved after working at various Zürich cultural events such as the Zürich Film Festival, "Zürich liest" Literature Festival and the Criterion Design Festival.  During several months working for the Manifesta Biennale of Contemporary Art, Brigitte was surprised when asked to be a guest storyteller.  She realized then how much she enjoyed storytelling and sharing her enthusiasm of art and Zürich with visitors.

In addition, 7 years spent working for Zürich's old city churches, recently as the Sigrist (Sexton) of the Grossmünster and Wasserkirche churches, have given Brigitte a unique perspective and insider knowledge of Zürich's main churches.  She is an officially accredited Zürich Old Town Churches guide.
